The staff of Hometown Chiropractic and Rehab, 607 Ferris Avenue, held a patient appreciation day in the parking lot of their office Saturday morning. The appreciation day brought in several vendors providing food and offering many products and services to the public,

This was the first appreciation day held by the clinic.

“We wanted to provide a community outreach to give local vendors free marketing exposure and illustrate the services our clinic provides in a festival setting,” Marketing Director Jose Huerta said.

There were games and a bounce house to entertain children.

The whole family had a choice of lunch entrees provided by Olive Garden or the Cotton Patch Cafe.

“We wanted to reach out to the entire family today,” Huerta said.

A part of today’s festival, Hometown offered several of their clinic’s services at no cost to the public. Free chair massage was a favorite among many of the guests. While easing out the back stress of one person Therapist Robin Maulden said, “You have the most tension of any body today.”

Besides chair messages the clinic also offered free spinal and neck exams and consultation to patients.

“If the back and neck are not running correctly, the whole body is not working correctly,” Huerta said.

“We’ve had a very good turnout today and are very pleased with the community response we received,” Huerta said.
