MIDLOTHIAN – The Paws For Reflection Ranch has decided to put its second annual Round Up on pause and instead focus on its upcoming fall and winter events.
On Thursday, Sept. 19 Paws For Reflection Ranch will be one of the nonprofits that donors can aid during the North Texas Giving Day. From 7 a.m. to midnight donors can make a $25 donation through the Donor Bridge website (www.donorbridgetx.org). Each donation will be multiplied from a pool of $1.5 million of bonus funds and prizes.
Ranch staff and animals will be getting ready for the annual Fall at the Ranch for families with special needs from 2-4 p.m. Oct. 26. Fall at the Ranch is a free event and gives special needs children a relaxed environment that allows the whole family to enjoy an afternoon of games and prizes, crafts and horse rides together.
The ranch will have hay rides and all their horses and critters on hand for children to meet. Owner Melode Seremet reminds parents to bring a camera to take a picture of their kids in western duds.
Though the event is free, donations are greatly appreciated and the ranch will need extra volunteer help the week prior to and the day of the event.
The Paws For Reflection Ranch is located at 5431 Montgomery Road in Midlothian and can be reached by email at firstname.lastname@example.org or by phone at 972-775-8966.
