Tickets for the second annual WHS Athletic Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony and Scholarship Program are now on sale.  

The event will be held at 7 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 3 at the Waxahachie Civic Center. Proceeds from the event fund scholarships for WHS graduates.  

Last year’s scholarship award went to Luke Shatwell, an outstanding WHS athlete and now a freshman at Texas A&M University.

The 2013 WHS Athletic Hall of Fame inductees that will be honored are: Legends - Phil Reynolds, Logan Stollenwerck, and Tirey Wilemon, Jr.; Modern - Jack Aldridge, Marcy Crabtree, and Steve Howell; and Friend – Dr. David Williams.  

The 1965 State Championship Baseball team will also be honored at the event.

Citizens National Bank and On-Site Contracting have underwritten the cost of the display cases to house the permanent memorabilia at the Waxahachie Civic Center.
