There are so many memories family and friends have of Amy. She was very affectionate, loved to hug on people and kiss you right on the mouth. She would crawl up in her mother’s lap, even recently, and say she was her baby. When Amy was a teenager, the Pointer Sisters were a big hit. She used to get in the car and sing at the top of her lungs “I’m so Excited!” She bought her mother the CD for her birthday last year and asked, “remember this?” She and her mom took Julian to Sea World in San Antonio in 2010. They had so much fun together. Amy adopted and loved everyone’s children. She was known as “Mi Mi” to many children. It seemed like every holiday, reunion, or get together, Amy brought someone’s kids. She was one in a million. She had a beautiful smile. Amy was a graduate of Waxahachie High School and a lifelong resident of Waxahachie. She was very loving and very outgoing, never meeting a stranger. She will forever be missed, continually loved and never forgotten.
Visitation for family and friends will be held from 6-8 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 29, 2013 at Wayne Boze Funeral Home. www.waynebozefuneralhome.com
