William Keith Hines

Keith Hines, 77, passed away August 27, 2013, at Plano Medical Center with his family by his side. Keith was born in Milford, Texas to Earnest and Retha Hines. He graduated from Milford High School in 1957. His military service was with the United States Army. Keith began his career with Dallas Power and Light, now known as TXU Energy, in 1956. He enjoyed every moment of his 36 years of service and retired in 1992. After retirement he enjoyed spending time with friends and family. Keith loved being outside and one of his greatest joys was being able to watch his four grandsons play baseball. He also enjoyed delivering Thursday Meals at Brown Street Church of Christ. Keith was a faithful Christian and longtime member of the Brown Street Church of Christ.
Keith is survived by his loving wife of 50 years, Claudette; their children, Debbie Davidson and husband Brian and their two sons; Bryce and Barrett of Houston and Kathie Armstrong and husband Shawn and their two sons; and Grant and Grayson of Waxahachie. He is also survived by his two sisters, Earnestine McMahan and husband Joe, Bettie Ball and husband TJ all of Waxahachie; brother, Kenneth Hines and wife Bobbie of Georgetown; brother-in-law, John Richecky of Kansas City, Kansas and numerous nieces and nephews.
Keith was preceded in death by his parents, Earnest and Retha Hines and his sister Jennie Richecky.
The family is very thankful for the loving care of his doctors in Waxahachie and Dallas and HealthSouth Rehabilitation Center of Plano.
Visitation for family and friends will be held from 6-8 p.m. Thursday, Aug, 29, 2013 at the Boze-Mitchell-McKibbin Funeral Home.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, Aug. 30, 2013 in the chapel of the Boze-Mitchell-McKibbin Funeral Home with Mr. Walter Buchanan and Mr. Dean Kilmer officiating. Interment will follow at the Midlothian Cemetery.
Honorary pallbearers will be Ronald Appleton, Harvey Wilson, Joe Andrle, Perry Giles, Ray Darnell and Glynn Moses.
