Good Afternoon Waxahachie Hospitality Partners!

If you are interested in giving the gift of life, one of our hospitality partners, Pearman Oil & Gas, is helping organize the Eta Omega Blood Drive this Saturday, Aug. 17 from 9 a.m.-3 p.m. in the parking lot located next to Burger King, another one of our hospitality partners.

I also want to give you a quick reminder to get in touch with SAGU, our local university, because they will be distributing information packets to their on-campus population for Welcome Week and are requesting coupons and information from local businesses. This is one of the first pieces of information that all of their students see when they come to check into their dorm room (both returning and new students as well as commuters).

Currently, they have 1,000 students registered to stay in housing on-campus. If you would like to participate, please call (972) 825-4748 before Aug. 19.

Also, new SAGU students will be on campus for Welcome Week the last week of August (26th), so we would love to have the support of the community in welcoming the students and their families to Waxahachie with signage in your location or by changing out your marquee to show your school spirit.

If you need any additional information on upcoming events, visit www.waxahachiecvb.com or contact me direct at 469-309-4046, or email lmosley@waxahachiecvb.com.

Your friend in hospitality,

Laurie Mosley
