In support of the TCU Horned Frogs, Hulen Mall announces that Go Purple Friday! returns to the shopping center on Friday, August 30, the day before the school’s opening game against LSU. Every Friday through November 22, participating retailers with a purple logo in their windows will offer exclusive discounts to every shopper wearing purple.
Entering its fifth season, GO PURPLE FRIDAY is described by Fort Worth Mayor Betsy Price and TCU Director of Intercollegiate Athletics Christopher Del Conte as a positive community initiative designed to show Greater Fort Worth’s support and pride in Horned Frogs football.
In addition to the retailer discounts, on select Fridays throughout the season, SuperFrog and the GO PURPLE FRIDAY street team will make appearances at Hulen Mall, interacting with shoppers and staff and rewarding individuals who are wearing purple with TCU branded merchandise and giveaways.
“It’s a fall tradition – on Fridays during football season, every shopper is a TCU fan and every shopper’s favorite color is purple! As well as shoppers, our retailers love GO PURPLE FRIDAYS and look forward to catching the school spirit and offering those special discounts,” says Debi Martinez, marketing manager for Hulen Mall. “This year, the Fridays are going to even more fun with SuperFrog and his fans dropping by on special Fridays. We don’t know the schedule as of yet, but we will post it on the Hulen Mall website and Facebook page as soon as we have the dates.”
GO PURPLE FRIDAYS are scheduled for September 6, 13, 20 and 27; October 4, 11, 18 and 25; and November 1, 8, 15 and 22. For more information, visit www.hulenmall.com http://www.hulenmall.com> .
