Hulen Mall is extending hours for the Texas Sales Tax Holiday weekend. The shopping center will open:
Friday and Saturday, August 9 and 10 from 9 a.m. to 10 p.m. Sunday, August 11 from 12 to 6 p.m.
Department stores, restaurants and entertainment venues at the shopping center may keep different hours. Shoppers are advised to call for exact opening and closing times.
According to the Texas comptroller’s website, as in previous years, the law exempts most clothing, footwear, school supplies and backpacks priced under $100 from sales and use taxes, which could save shoppers about $8 on every $100 spent.
