An Ellis County Grand Jury has indicted Burnet resident Buil Clyde Dollar Jr., 57, on one charge of fraudulent use or possession of identifying information and one charge of tampering with a government record.
The Texas Department of Public Safety arrested Dollar on Monday, April 29 and he was booked into the Wayne McCollum Detention Center.
According to the indictment, on the first charge of fraudulent use or possession of identifying information, Dollar allegedly possesed the victimís Texas driverís license with intent to harm or defraud the victim.
On the second charge of tampering with a government record, according to the indictment, Dollar allegedly made a false entry in an application for a Texas Commercial Driverís License with intent to defraud or harm a second victim.
Dollar remains in custody at the detention center with bonds totaling $16,000.
W. Lee Johnson has been appointed as Dollarís attorney. Dollarís next appearance in court is Thursday, Aug. 8, for arraignment.
