William ‘Bill’ Kendall

William “Bill” Kendall, 90, of Corinth passed away Tuesday, Dec. 11, 2012, at the Atrium Medical Center in Corinth. He was born Dec. 16, 1921 in Seville, Ohio to Harry and Zelma (Bonham) Kendall. He loved playing his pedal steel guitar and playing joker card games. He enjoyed working with his hands and working with wood. Bill was a loving husband, father and grandfather.
Survivors include one daughter, Connie McGuire of Corinth, Texas; two grandchildren, Roger McGuire of Double Oak, Texas and Crystal Kendall of Sherman, Texas; one sister, Marie Tackas of Ohio and one step-sister, Marge Northein and husband, Roland of Amherst, Ohio.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Dec. 18, 2012, in the chapel of the Boze-Mitchell-McKibbin Funeral Home with Pastor Sherri Williams officiating. Interment with military honors will follow at 1:15 p.m. at the Dallas-Fort Worth National Cemetery with Pastor Bruce Zimmerman officiating.
Pallbearers will be Bill Walker, Marvin Morris, Richard Pace, Phil Neely Raul Garcia and Bill Schwarzenbach.
In lieu of flowers, you can go by any Wells Fargo bank and contribute to the “William Kendall Memorial Fund” account number is 1015774522 or you can mail a check to made payable to “William Kendall Memorial Fund” with account number on the memo line to Connie McGuire, 3302 Athens, Corinth, Texas 76210. All funds will be for one or more students that love music but cannot afford their own instrument.
