As Olympic Park goers walk around the place, the spirit of the games invades all their senses, including their ears.
But the music that blasts out of speakers in all the major spectator thoroughfares is not just a random collection of tunes. Nothing is random here.
A music library of 2,012 songs with five music themes — "energy," ''primetime," ''extreme," ''heritage" and "world stage" has been compiled for the games. In real terms this means that walking through the park you hear British pop acts wherever you go, anything from the Spice Girls to Dizzee Rascal.
