HOUSTON (AP) — Houston police have arrested a man suspected in the fatal stabbing of his girlfriend at her apartment.
Police spokeswoman Jodi Silva said Tuesday that 27-year-old Ronald Deshaun Green has been charged with murder and abandoning/endangering a child. Bond has been set at $130,000.
The body of 27-year-old Ceceilia Sanders was found early Monday by her mother. The victim's infant daughter was nearby, while her 3-year-old daughter was located in a closet at the home. Silva says the child abandonment charge involves the girls being left at the crime scene.
Police had identified Green as a suspect and he was located later Monday at a gasoline station.
Silva had no information on an attorney for Green, who was being transferred Tuesday from the Houston City Jail to the Harris County Jail.
