The Waxahachie High School principal position that remains open will be one of the topics discussed at the Waxahachie Independent School District Board of Trustees meeting on Monday, July 30.

The called meeting starts at 6 p.m. at the WISD Administration Building, located at 411 Gibson Road. The meeting is open to the public.

“Our WISD Superintendent, Tom Collins, added this consideration for WHS principal position to the meeting agenda,” WISD Deputy Superintendent David Truitt said. “We are interviewing five more candidates on Friday (July 27).”

Truitt explained that other topics covered would include an update on the 2012-13 budget, and it will also be determined when the budget public hearing information will be posted.

There will also be more discussion for the next phase of the anti-bullying policies.
