Children’s Advocacy Center board hosts bingo game for seniors
Representatives from the Gingerbread House children’s advocacy center conducted a bingo game at Country Lanes Senior Living Center on Monday. Calling the numbers were center executive director John Wyckoff and his wife, Roxanne; past board president Bernyce Crownover; and current president, Julie Crownover. It was suggested by some of the residents and staff of the center that, since Wyckoff’s mother, Ronnie Wyckoff, recently became a resident of Country Lanes, that the Gingerbread House host a bingo game for all of the residents. “We just felt like this would be a great opportunity for the children’s advocacy center to give back to the community,” Wyckoff said. Country Lanes Senior Center is located on South U.S. Highway 77 in Waxahachie.
